Brent Snow from the San Juan Island School District Board and the Fields Advisory team are scheduled to meet with the town council tomorrow at noon to discuss the future of the sidewalks from the playfields to Guard ave. The Town of FH, FH School District and the FHAA want to make sure we have safe walkways for the kids to get to the fields. I am confident that we will come together and make that happen. : )
Don Sr has new Tile being installed in the Clubhouse Bathrooms and new irrigation lines going in on the mulitpurpose field. He wants everyone to know that we are getting very close to seeding the fields and that we are getting closer to our goal of opening the feilds!
Come on down and see whats happening! The first field is being graded and rototilled, irrigation materials have been ordered, and the clubhouse sheet rock has been completed along with paint. Tile laying has started as well. We just want to say thank you to all of the help we are getting! If you have an urge to volunteer some time weeding, mowing, raking etc then give Don Sr. a call at 378-5822 , 378-6288 or come down to the project.
Island Park and Rec has started the design process to install a playground facility within the complex. We cant wait to have a place for the little ones to have a good time too!
